Outdoor Field Trips
The Uinta County Conservation District works with other agencies, organizations and businesses to provide hands-on educational field trips for students of Uinta County to learn more about natural resources and agriculture, to create an awareness of conservation and stewardship.
If you are teacher interested in an outdoor field trip for your students, we can help you organize one that fits your teaching material and standards.
Past Outdoor Field Trips have included:
LIS 5th Grade Outdoor Field Trip to Bridger Lake - Topics: coniferous trees, macro invertebrates, Native Americans, predators & prey, bark beetles, fish adaptations.
Mountain View Middle School 5th Grade Winter Camp - Topics: earth stewardship food webs, tree cookies, watersheds, water use.
